Book of Panda MEGAWAYS combines variable winning ways with a single Scroll that acts as both Wild and Scatter. In the main game it can substitute for other symbols and also make its own Scatter payout. Three or more Scrolls start twelve Free Spins. The shared role is worth recognising before comparing its board with a book slot that uses separate Wild and Scatter symbols.
At bonus entry the game chooses a random expanding symbol, excluding the Wild/Scatter. It fills a reel when that expansion produces a win and can pay across non-adjacent reels. Scrolls also become multiplier symbols with values from x2 to x10 during the feature. Several such multipliers in the same spin are added, and three or more Scrolls can award another twelve spins.
