Ding Dong Death puts a persistent feature meter beside its avalanche sequence. Every third avalanche unlocks a level and converts the corresponding character symbols into wilds for the rest of the round. Reaching the last level introduces a global multiplier and can activate another transformation, so the current meter position matters as well as the next symbol drop.
An xNudge Wild first drops down and then expands upwards. Passing symbols on the way down increases its multiplier; on the upward expansion, split symbols are the relevant additions. Knock Knock provides another route to a fresh collapse: a horizontal alignment of matching symbols can activate when there is no ordinary winning combination.
Three, four or five scatters award seven, nine or eleven Ding Dong Spins. Meter progress and the global multiplier persist. Six scatters instead award thirteen Ding Dong Death Spins, where unlocking meter levels adds to the global multiplier. Compare that altered progression with the ordinary bonus; the longer round is not its only difference.
