Funky Time: the wheel and the chosen bet

Funky Time is a live wheel game with number, letter and bonus segments. Random multipliers can be assigned to segments during a round. A player needs a bet on the segment that wins; watching a bonus on screen does not mean every viewer participates. The four bonus destinations are Bar, Stayin Alive, Disco and VIP Disco.

Stayin Alive and its colour teams

Stayin Alive uses a machine with ninety coloured balls and a twenty-level multiplier ladder. Players choose green, pink or orange and begin with four lives. Matching coloured balls move their team one or two steps up; a black STOP ball removes a life. The feature ends when the lives run out, paying according to the reached level. The second image shows the separate machine and ladder, which make it visually distinct from the wheel round.

Disco, VIP Disco and the Bar bonus

Disco takes place on a 37-square floor, while VIP Disco uses 63 squares. A small directional wheel moves the character around the floor to collect multipliers. Bar instead asks the player to choose one of three glasses, with an extra reel able to modify a glass's value. These bonuses resolve differently even though the main wheel triggers all of them. The official trailer stills illustrate the equipment and interfaces, rather than results from our own session.
