ELK's catalogue includes Pirots, Nitropolis and Cygnus games. These families use distinct visual styles and feature systems, so choosing an ELK game starts with the series rather than assuming one studio-wide way to play.

Understand X-iter before selecting a mode

ELK describes X-iter as a menu of predefined modes that can take the player directly into different kinds of action. The options and their costs belong to the individual game. Compare the selected mode with ordinary play; a shortcut into a feature does not guarantee a profitable result.
